BE Thankful!

Thanksgiving is a day to celebrate being thankful... however, we are to be thankful at all times, for this is the will of God concerning us...  For the Lord knew that being thankful is activating our faith of believing Him! 

Out of the Mouth of Babes - an encounter with my granddaughter

Children can teach us a few things, and we need to take the time to listen to them. As with my grandchildren who say the "darndest" things, yet very true and innocent to help us "see" what God is doing. Sometimes we get blinded by life we don't see what is right in front of us.

Remove the Leaven out of our Hearts

We know that a little mixture can mess up the whole lump. So let's take a look at some things we may not even realize that is messing with our lives so we can do something about it.

Judge not Lest You be Judged

We may know not to judge one another, but what about judging our thoughts? That's where it all starts. So if we can get a handle there, it may not come out of our mouth!  Walking in love, there is no judging. Walking in truth, there is no manipulating. Judging comes when we have unforgiveness in our heart.

God's Ways are Yea and Amen

I remember my husband saying, "There is no NO in Heaven." That is actually true... all of the things of God is Yes and Amen. So when someone comes along and says, "you can't do that" you will remember that in God all things are possible, with yes and amen.

God's Pruning is for More Excellent stuff!

Sometimes we go through some rough patches in our lives, and it could be God pruning things so that He can bring in MORE EXCELLENT things. Listen in on my personal account of God pruning people out of our lives to bring in more excellent people!
